La fleur du jardin de Martine à Carthage

Flowers need water and sunlight to blossom in the same way that we all need love to grow. Kierkegaard said: ''What after all is a human being without love?  ''Romantic loving is beautiful because it is intoxicating and extraordinarily interesting and transforms one's life so much as if it is of mythological proportions.''

Les fleurs roses de Capri

Throughout the years while healing the wounds of my heart, I kept on looking for the bright side of life for I believe that all experiences are enriching.  Life happens and when I decided to go with the flow, instead of fear and resentment, I was able to rise above and gain strength.

Michael A. Singer writes in the ''Untethered Soul''....''The highest spiritual path is life itself.  If you know how to live daily life, it all becomes a liberating experience.  But first you have to approach life properly, or it can be very confusing.  To begin with, you have to realize that you really only have one choice in this life, and it's not about your career, whom you want to marry, or whether you want to seek God...But in the end, you can throw it all away and just make one basic, underlying decision.  Do you want to be happy...it's really that simple.''

Sweet Birds of Bryant Park

While I was going through the hurdles of my painful divorce, I found it difficult to return to the source where lies creativity.  Although the healing process takes place with the help of therapy, however, I discovered that my art is my salvation.  As Julia Cameron writes in her book ''Walking in this world'', ''therapy aims at making us normal.  Art aims at expressing our originality.  The norm has nothing to do with it".

Surreal Trees of Manhattan

When I got the ''wake-up call'', things that seemed important suddenly appeared meaningless and the people, family & friends, their concerns became of supreme importance.  It's like seeing from the inside out, my world became surreal.

Les orangers de Carthage

When I had the first ''wake-up'' call, my life all the sudden became filled with those precious moments, with that unbearable lightness of being.  It's as if I were being injected with a special magic potion sparkling my vision with such vivid colours that transformed not only my being but also the way I was seeing.
